As the Town of Garner plans for future growth, our leaders are looking to make smart, fiscally responsible public investments to keep Garner on the right path. As part of this strategic effort, the Town Council decided unanimously to give Garner residents the opportunity to vote on four bond questions on November 2, 2021, that would authorize the Town to issue up to $69 million in Parks and Recreational Bonds, Street and Sidewalk Improvement Bonds, Public Safety and Services Facilities Bonds and Stormwater Bonds. The Town anticipates a 2-cent property-tax-rate increase (per $100 assessed value) if all four bond questions are approved.
