Garner is growing rapidly to the southwest along U.S. 401. We are extremely fortunate to be served by Garner Fire-Rescue, which boasts an outstanding Insurance Services Office (ISO) rating. Maintaining strong public safety services in all parts of Garner is and will always be a top priority for the Town.
The Public Safety and Services Facilities Bonds, totaling up to $6.5 million, would enable the Town to partner with Wake County EMS to build a joint-use facility (rendering above) that would serve as Garner’s fifth fire station in a fast-growing area.
